Callette Nielsen

Callette assumed her current position as Vice President and Global Brand Manager for Courtyard in July of 2014 and is responsible for the overall strategy and development of the Courtyard brand - closing in on 1,000 hotels globally. Callette is focused on ensuring the brand is positioned to win with the Millennial target consumer, as well as growing the pipeline of hotels domestically and internationally.

Loren Nalewanski

VICE PRESIDENT & GLOBAL BRAND MANAGER - TOWNEPLACE SUITES & SPRINGHILL SUITES

A Hospitality veteran, Loren Nalewanski joined Marriott International, Inc., 25 years ago and during this time has managed all areas of property operations in many brands. After serving in property roles from coast to coast, Loren was appointed Vice President, for Talent Management and Work Environment for North America, establishing the Work Environment Center of Excellence at Marriott, guided the architecture of the associate engagement strategy in use globally today for Marriott International.    

DAVID STORM

DIRECTOR OF BROADCAST TECHNOLOGY & SERVICES - THE ORLANDO MAGIC

David Storm began his career with the Orlando Magic organization as the video control room managing producer and helped open the Amway Center in 2010. In his current role as Director of Broadcast Technology and Services, Storm is responsible for providing strategic vision and operational leadership for all broadcast technology and audio/video services and resources at the Amway Center and all other Orlando Magic facilities, including the center hung video boards, LED, digital signage and technology infrastructure. 

Jason Carey

VP OF IN-STORE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION - WELLS FARGO

Jason Carey, VP of In-Store Production and Distribution at Wells Fargo, is a 13-year team member responsible for the in-store digital experience in 6,300 Wells Fargo retail locations. Originally tapped to lead strategy and content for Wells Fargo’s retail digital signage program, he also focuses on distributing both printed and digital materials to stores while exploring the use and integration of other digital channels in retail and non-retail environments.

Chris Lydle

GLOBAL LEAD OF DIGITAL SIGNAGE AND KIOSK - GOOGLE

Chris Lydle is Global Lead of Digital Signage and Kiosk for Google, with responsibility for bringing Chrome and Android devices to the digital signage and kiosk market. Chris has over twenty years experience working with digital media, most recently at YouTube. He is a graduate of Rutgers University and resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Roderick Flores

IT PROJECT MANAGER - DAIMLER TRUCKS NORTH AMERICA

Currently managing IT projects in Operations and Corporate Support's Engineering Group, specifically Vehicle Electronics applications including EPA10-related efforts (engineering documentation, vehicle programming, and service systems).

Kate Denton

SVP, CAPITOL RECORDS & SEVENTEENFIFTY

Kate Denton leads a creative lab within Capitol Music Group called seventeenfifty with four unique, but interlaced mandates – to provide consumer insights to partners; to execute strategic media buys; to lead creative sync licensing deals; and to evaluate and secure key brand partnerships. 

Prior to joining Capitol, Kate spent 13 years in the world of consumer packaged goods, where she developed a keen awareness for what resonates with consumers at companies such as Pepsico and Kraft Foods. She has parlayed this skill set into powering her role at Capitol, bringing with her a distinct vision of changing the way the music industry interacts with the branding community.

Erin Leary

IT LEADER FOR COLLABORATION SERVICES - THE BOEING COMPANY

Erin Leary’s current role at Boeing is as the IT Leader for Collaboration Services. One of the key focus areas for Collaboration Services is to connect people to people as well as to expertise and information and paving the way for a true Digital Workplace. Erin has over 30 years of business and technology management experience in the Pacific Northwest. She has her BA in International Relations from Stanford University, a Master’s in Information Systems from Seattle Pacific University and more recently, completed an Executive Certificate program in International Business Management from the Thunderbird School.

Erika Makseyn

VICE PRESIDENT, CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - BANK OF AMERICA

Erika is a Vice President, Channel Development Manager at Bank of America responsible for the strategy and execution of content on Bank of America’s digital communication network. She also leads the planning of all financial center marketing customer research initiatives. Erika has a proven record as a strategic thought-leader with both agency and client experience.

Samir Bitar

PRODUCER, VISITOR EXPERIENCE - SMITHSONIAN INSTITUTION

Samir heads research and design of the visitor experience at the Smithsonian. As a director for the Smithsonian he leads special projects that improve visitors' experiences across the Smithsonian's 19 museums, galleries and the National Zoo. In his work with the Board of Regents, the National Board, senior staff, volunteers and external agencies and partner firms Samir advocates for visitor-centric and market-oriented strategies across four functional areas: service design, visitors studies, marketing and experience design.

Ryan Nowak

TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS ENGINEER - THE GREEN BAY PACKERS

Ryan Nowak is a Technology Systems Engineer at the Green Bay Packers, a National Football League franchise. With over 10 years at the Packers, Ryan has experience in a variety of technologies. He is responsible for the digital signage, digital asset management, IPTV, A/V, and security surveillance systems. Ryan has managed the signage system, trained staff, and built signs for over five years. His signage applications range from static information to menu boards to interactive touch applications.

Jonathan Devin

SENIOR COMMUNICATIONS ANALYST - ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL

Jonathan R. Devin joined St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a senior communications analyst in 2013. As such he creates, develops, and implements innovative methods of communicating St. Jude’s culture of excellence in scientific research and clinical care internally to its 5,000 employees. His work is focused on creating a greater sense of community, leveraging institutional pride, and supporting the retention of top talent.

Dave Haynes

CO-FOUNDER - THE PRESET GROUP & FOUNDER & PUBLISHED - SIXTEEN:NINE

Dave Haynes is well-known in the digital signage industry as a vendor and end-user consultant, market analyst and the guy behind Sixteen:Nine, an online publication that has for more than a decade chronicled the growth and ongoing evolution of the digital signage business. Earlier this year, he added what has quickly become a popular podcast series, also called Sixteen:Nine. Haynes has his own consulting and publishing company, and is also a founding partner of The Preset Group, a consultancy based in Portland, Oregon. Dave is based near Toronto, in Canada.

Eric Schmidt

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR - WILDLIFE PROTECTION SOLUTIONS

During his tenure at the University of Colorado, Eric conducted wildlife management studies for the National Renewable Energy Lab, City of Boulder, and Boulder County focusing primarily on grassland flora and fauna, as well as large mammals. Eric has also been heavily involved with technology, managing digital equipment deployments to museums, zoos and aquariums, as well as providing digital signage solutions for major enterprise clients.

Larry Fretz

GAMING AND HOSPITALITY PRACTICE LEAD - INFOTECH

Larry brings more than a decade of international Gaming & Hospitality and 25+ years of overall technology, marketing, supply chain, and other business operations expertise. Larry has held CIO/VP IT and executive leadership positions with the Palms Casino Resort, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Niagara Casinos (Fallsview Casino Resort & Casino Niagara), resulting in respected knowledge and experience of gaming and hospitality systems and understanding of the industry’s strategic, start-up opening and day-to-day challenges. In these hands-on executive roles, he was responsible for all aspects of highly regulated and available enterprise IT from Infrastructure & Operations, Project & Portfolio Management, Security & Risk, CRM, and Architecture & Applications.

Barbara DrauDe

ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT FOR ACADEMIC AND INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGIES - MIDDLE TENNESSEE UNIVERSITY

Barbara J. Draude is the Assistant Vice President for Academic and Instructional Technologies for Middle Tennessee State University's Information Technology Division and co-directs the university's Learning, Teaching and Innovative Technologies Center. She is responsible for the areas of academic programming, statistical consultation, web applications, digital signage and technology integration into teaching and learning. She is also an Assistant Professor in the MTSU School of Nursing. She has been involved with digital signage at Middle Tennessee since it’s initiation and currently manages an enterprise implementation of the FWI software.

Kelly has 15 years in the digital design field and is currently the Director of UX and Apps for Four Winds Interactive, where she leads a talented team of designers and developers, creating experiences of the highest quality for clients all over the world. As Senior Creative Director for CNN, Kelly played a key role in developing the CNN iPhone app, multiple CNN.com site redesigns, and the HLN Social Index. She's a Peabody award winner for her role in CNN Digital's coverage of the 2008 Presidential Elections and the 2010 gulf coast oil spill, and she won a Webby award for CNN Walk Around the World in 2011."

Dan Verbsky

Dan has over 25 years of experience in display technology and installation services. His main focus within Four Winds Interactive (FWI) revolves around expanding the hardware solutions department by selecting, sourcing and validating hardware. Prior to his employment at FWI, Dan was the Director of Professional Services and Project Management at Richardson Electronics Display Division, primarily concentrating on project management and installation services in healthcare, hospitality,federal, educational, retail and corporate industries.

Jai Krishnan

As Senior Director of Software Development, Jai Krishnan brings over 20 years of software experience to Four Winds Interactive. He has built and grown teams responsible for the development and release of quality enterprise software products for Global 1000 customers. Jai currently oversees the native mobile solution, along with front-end UI development, integrations to third-party data, and miscellaneous custom development.

Zach Sechler

Zach, an Application Services Manager, has worked at FWI for 5 years and contributed to the success of over 250 digital signage implementations. Zach’s next endeavor is building out mobile applications with FWI software as well as managing eight bright, young minded individuals on the Application Services team.
